An update on Fundraising

Posted 29th July 2021

I’m Elizabeth Titley, newly appointed to the role of Fundraising and Partnerships Manager for The National House Project. My role is to develop income streams for the Charity from different sources including Trusts and grant-makers, major donors, individuals, corporates and the public. I hope that people will want to support us on our journey and will recognise that NHP is a fantastic cause.

In my first few months I’ve written the Charity’s Fundraising Strategy which will help guide us through the first couple of years and have been talking to funders who I hope will see our value and choose to support us. It’s an exciting time to have jumped on board at NHP as it begins to grow as an organisation and I’m passionate about making a difference for our care leavers.

Here's an update on what has been going on...

Arnold Clarke

The National House Project are absolutely delighted to be awarded £1000 from the Arnold Clarke Community Foundation towards our digital poverty campaign. This will go towards our House Project communities receiving even more digital support and help with devices and connection.

Families First (pictured)

A massive thankyou to Rachael and the team at Families First Fostering, who raised a fantastic £400 at their barbecue. The typical British summer weather meant the event was held indoors but it didn’t stop them having a fantastic time and raising money for our young people. We are so happy that you thought of us.

Events

Have you seen our fundraising pages on our website lately? We’ve updated them and you can see what you can do to join in support us.

The National House Project will be taking part in The Big Give’s Christmas Challenge so look out for news on our website and social media about this and how you can join in and help.

The NHP Bake Off

In September we will be holding our first fundraising Bake Off so if you’ve got some culinary skills or none at all and you fancy baking your first cake then watch our website and social media in the coming weeks for more information.

If you would like to become involved in fundraising or want to help or donate to NHP please get in touch and I’d be happy to talk to you.
