Last year, our supporters raised more than £12,000 to help young care leavers across the UK build skills, confidence and brighter futures, alongside sustaining their first home.
Your donation can help young people leaving care build the confidence, skills and relationships they need to create a positive future. Through Local House Projects, young people are supported to move into their own homes, make decisions for themselves, develop friendships, and take the lead in shaping the support they receive.

How will my donation help?
Choose the amount that feels right for you. Whether you give once or every month, your support helps young people access practical opportunities, trusted relationships and the confidence to take their next steps
£5 per month
could help a young person travel to stay connected with friends, support networks and their local community. Again, a little more text on this (or less on the middle) would be great :-)
£10 per month
could help a young person take part in the Care Leavers National Movement, using their voice to lead change for others leaving care.
£25 per month
could help provide essential home appliances for a young person creating a safe, settled home of their own. Again, a little more text on this (or less on the middle) would be great :-)
Please note your monthly donations will be used towards the cost of us supporting young care-leavers across our community. This includes:
- Supporting young people through a certificated learning programme - the House Project Programme – to enable them to move into their own home and be work ready
- Supporting young people to set up their own home with a £200 voucher towards a white good; introductory fuel vouchers; or discounts on furniture
- Enabling young people to pursue their dreams or start a career with an Aspirational Award
- Enabling young people to take an active role to inform/change the system that supports them
- Supporting young people to lead and organise the Care Leavers National Movement conference annually
Every gift matters. A one-off donation can help us respond flexibly to what young people need most, from practical support when setting up home to opportunities that build confidence, independence and connection.

If you are a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid can make your donation go further at no extra cost to you. For every £1 you give, NHP can claim an additional 25p from HMRC, helping your support have even more impact for young people.
We use donations carefully to support young people through Local House Projects and the wider NHP community. Your gift helps fund practical support, learning opportunities, leadership activities and the resources young people need as they prepare for independent living.
